About us We are a student fitness club that will be convent and affordable for Sheridan college students located in the GTA. Our gyms are in Brampton (Davis) and in Mississauga (HMC) . We certainly aim to help students with limited income and pack schedules to fit in a quick workout. In essence, of course we want students to be maintaining their physical and mental health across campuses. Additionally we will also have personal trainers, nutritionist and a kinesiologist on site to answer all questions and can be booked for private sessions. After all PSB Fitness was created to improve the minds and bodies of students across the GTA while also being an affordable gym membership for students.

Our memberships are $9.99 a month, not to mention a discount of $69.99 yearly ,however don’t worry being committed to your membership, as cancelling at anytime whether you paid monthly or yearly is allowed. However Whenever you are ready to cancel, visit us on campus s with your ID as soon as possible to avoid charges. As long as you are cancelling before the 1st of the month, we will not be charge you.

At PSB Fitness we want to ensure that all our equipment stays new as long as possible. To ensure of that, we have designed our gym specifically so that every exercise equipment has a disinfectant station nearby. This will allow our members to make certain that the equipment is cleaned before and after use!

At PSB Gym with smoothie bar in Mississauga and Brampton we offer two different pricing sections, one for Sheridan students and the other is for the public.
For Sheridan students, the pricing is at a bargain but for the public, the pricing is normal.Sheridan students have the advantage to pay gym fees as part of their tuition, this means that PSB will be taking a lump sum from the college for the number of students who use any service in the facility.For the public, the prices are normal because although these fitness centers provide unique products, not all services available at other gyms are available here.

Who are we?
We are the only gym in Mississauga that offers the unique experience of fully exercising with your own body without the use of machines. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the whole process and assist you on the way so you can unlock the next level of your capacity.

How are we different?
Unlike most of the other gyms, PBS Fitness does not count with common gym machines. In contrast, we combine CrossFit, free weights, unorthodox items such as wheels, hammers, ropes, etc. and a unique TRX suspension system, as a result you can exercise more naturally. Our professional instructors guide these sessions and they will lead your group through the different stations, consequently you can exercise every inch of your body.
Why stop using machines?
The creation of gym machines was primarily to provide a “safer” alternative to their counterparts. However, in most instances, this is not the case. Machines put your body in unnatural positions, consequently your joints through dangerous ranges of motion. Consequently, this can lead to muscle strain and even serious injuries. (Yeung, 2021) Most of the machines are put in a position that the human body is not meant to be. As a result you can guide your fitness journey on how nature intended it to be by doing more natural exercises.
Why exercise more naturally?
Furthermore, there are certain benefits associated with exercising more naturally. For instance, natural exercise activates more muscles than machines. Therefore is better for building muscle in the long run. (Parren, 2021) Consequently, by eliminating certain risks and unlocking your true potential, you will achieve more efficient results and long-term success.
By performing our natural exercises, you are able to lose weight more quickly than if you engaged in an average gym workout, over a certain amount of time. (BackToMotion, 2020) In other words, you will be able to optimize the way you exercise therefore getting in shape smartly!

Here are some delicious meals we provide at the Foodbar:
Viscous Vegans: Burrito stuffed with sweet potato, chickpeas, and spinach. Served with mint chutney. Bean sprout noodles with mushrooms, tofu, and green beans. Very Vegetarians: Indian red bean curry with brown rice. Served with cucumber salad. Butter squash risotto. Served with a spinach salad. Hulky Halal’s: Cajun chicken with quinoa and pomegranate salad. Italian herb salmon with baked sweet potato wedges and sour cream dip.
Sounds out of the world, right? We offer meals inspired by different cuisines from Continental, Chinese, Mexico, and India. Accordingly, we accommodate our vegan, vegetarian, and/or halal diet customers.
Although diversity is a major aspect of our meal plans, it is not the only thing we offer. We understand you students need to save money and spend on budget-friendly products. Therefore, each semester we are offering student reward programs to recognize students’ amazing academic achievements.

We are offering two rewards to two lucky students who meet the eligibility criteria for this reward program. The lucky winners can choose between the two rewards below:
10 free meals from the food bar for the entire academic term (valid for 1 semester).

Are you eligible?
We have a few requirements for you to be eligible for this reward program.
A part-time or full-time student at Sheridan College.
A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
An interest in a healthy dietary and physical lifestyle.

We need to check your eligibility, therefore, you will be asked to provide your transcript and enrollment status in the form. You can access it through myStudentCenter. Once you fill in the form, we will review your eligibility and you will be placed in a draw. This program is available at the beginning of each academic term. Finally, two lucky winners will be announced within the first two weeks of the term. The award will expire by the end of the academic term, so be sure to spend and splurge! After all, you’ve earned it.
What if I don’t get a student award?
Worry not, health geeks! We offer prices suited towards a typical student budget. Most of our meals will go between CAD 9-15 depending on meal-type and portion size.

At Sheridan we like to see our students healthy and happy. We want to offer a free membership for the first month so that we can encourage more students to workout. Some students are also worried about any first time fees they would have to pay. With our free first month you have no strings attached, you can choose to continue your membership or cancel after your first month is over! After your first month you will only have to pay $8 per month to continue your membership, you can also choose to leave whenever you want! There is no minimum membership length at PSB Fitness Center Gym and a student does not have to feel pressure to pay any hidden fees for canceling their membership.

We are offering a free workout with a professional trainer for students who have never been to a gym before or for students who just want to learn some good techniques. The first workout with your trainer will also be free of cost! We want to encourage people to not be afraid to ask questions or ask for help. No one is an expert when they first start doing something, it takes practice and good determination to get good at something, with the proper help you will feel like you are actually achieving something and it will encourage you not to give up early on your journey to staying healthy. At PSB Fitness we want everyone to feel welcome and feel like they are benefitting from working out.

At Sheridan we like to see our students getting involved in various activities together. At PSB Fitness Center Gym we are offering various classes that Sheridan students can take part in together and make friends. For example, we have a free yoga class that runs on Friday evenings. A perfect way to end the week and wind down while making some friends at the same time!

The PSB Fitness center is easily accessible to students and is open late hours so that students can get a workout after late classes.
