Implementing a Nutritional Strategy

The 80/20 Rule: customized vegan plan at Sheridan College
The 80/20 Rule (Credit: https://fitpage.in/the-80-20-rule-how-can-you-apply-this-for-weight-loss/)

Did you know, that eating two Cadbury Crème Eggs is equivalent to 30 minutes of jogging? Both activities result in either consuming or burning 350 calories, yet one takes a matter of minutes. This is why it is important to consider the 80/20 rule – 80% nutrition to 20% fitness. Even though this equation is not scientifically proven, it is based on how much easier it is to consume calories over burning them.

Being physically active without healthy eating is like trying to get from point A to point B, but only being able to run in circles.

Score a Customized Vegan Plan at Sheridan College

PSB fitness will be offering a customized workout plan, as well as a customized meal plan by one of our two owners. This FREE offering is valid for the first 150 students who sign up at PSB fitness. By offering personalized plans, we can ensure that our customers can fulfill their needs with our current machines and food offerings. Through convenience between classes, a wider range of food offerings, and 2 certified personal trainers on-site, PSB fitness is a one-stop shop for the Sheridan student body to:

1.  Complete a full workout and,
2. Have access to various reasonably priced, delicious, and nutritious made-to-order meals.

Most personal trainers touch on both the physical and nutritional components of working out. However, there is a lack of incorporating both within a facility. Yes, gyms like Good Life and LA Fitness have smoothie bars, but this limits the inclusive and diverse nutritional offerings. At PSB fitness, we know consuming smoothies day in and day out is unattainable. That is why we offer protein bowls, paninis, fruits, vegan desserts, halal-certified meat, gluten-free tacos, and so much more.

To take advantage of this offer, head on down to either the Brampton or Mississauga Sheridan College PSB location. Become one of the first 150 members to receive your customized vegan, vegetarian, halal, or alternative meal plan today!

You Are What You Eat

Placing 80% of your focus on healthy nutrition is easier said than done. People can make time in their day to drive to the gym and exercise for approximately 30 minutes. However, people recognize there is just not enough time in the day to prepare nor cook a healthy, nutritious meal. That is what we are here for! Never forget, that it is easier to consume 350 calories than it is to lose 350 calories.

So do not let your lack of time be a burden to your ability to be physically healthy. With PSB’s customized meal plan promotion at Sheridan College, we want you to be successful with the 80/20 rule.

Check out our PSB photographic calorie tracking app as the perfect accompaniment to your nutritional journey.

Live By the 80:20 Rule

Believing that positive body changes are a result of continuous exercise, is a thing of the past. By implementing the 80/20 rule, we can all now recognize the importance of both nutrition and fitness. Congratulations, you have successfully identified the first fundamental step to improving your overall health. Further understanding your body composition is more complicated when considering sleep, genetics, and stress.
