Our philosophy at Bruin Fitness is different from most gyms. Traditionally, gyms will train people to absolute failure which may not necessarily be the desired outcome nor the most effective method. At Bruin Fitness we promote proper technique, controlled repetitions and progression at all levels. There is an overemphasis on attempting to move heavier weights or increase intensity at most facilities but we know that the best predictors of long-term results are consistency and proper fundamentals. Knowing that it is not the larger weights that make the biggest difference but the ability to control the proper movements keeps you safe, reduces the amount of injury and ensures you will be making steady improvements.

Because we recognise that starting or resuming might be difficult, our programs are made to be straightforward, organised, and simple to use.
