Do you want to go do to the gym but not heavy exercises like weightlifting or jogging? I have a solution for you: PSB Fitness – a combination of Yoga and Pilates. A new location will be opened near Sheridan College – HMC campus.

Background of Yoga and Pilates

As you may not know, the word “Yoga” means “that which brings you to reality”. Basically, it means “union”. Yoga is a union of physical, mental and spiritual exercises or practices that have been around for 5,000 years. (For more information about yoga, click here). Nowadays, a lot of people have mistaken yoga and Pilates. While people look for yoga to boost the flexibility of their body and joints, Pilates, on another hand focuses more on trying to relax tense muscles. Two desired athletic people, Jessie and Matt have combined yoga and pilates into one, named PSB Fitness. PSB Fitness would be a place where people, especially Sheridan students, can spend less time but receive more efficient results.

At PSB Fitness we offer a variety of classes with qualified staff who have been trained for years and experienced in customer services. (For more details about classes and instructors, please visit our website at www.psbfitness.ca). We provide plenty of classes scheduled from 5 am to 11 pm every day. Therefore, whether you want to do yoga early in the morning or pilates late at night, we all got your back!

Coming to our fitness, a lot of beneficial promotions are waiting for you, especially if you are from Sheridan college. For example, a free trial for 1 month on any classes or an upgrade to VIP membership without additional fees. PSB Fitness always tries our best to bring as much as advantages to college students. Because we do understand how hard it is to balance both school and work yet still trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle with a peaceful mind. It’s a combination of equalizing physical and mental health, and I strongly believe PSB Fitness can help you.

Fact: The COVID 19 occurred has closed down many businesses including gyms and finesses. Hence, we do concern about everyone’s health so we have some specific restrictions about social distancing while still providing members with good quality classes. We will do online classes and decrease the number of each physical classroom to 5 people per class. We also open more spots for people to register when they want to do classes and we will arrange classes accordingly.

PSB Fitness also offers internship opportunities for Sheridan students. Everyone who is passionate and interested in yoga and pilates is welcomed to join our team. Here we not only introduce a new type of fitness but also support individuals who want to keep a healthy lifestyle and active body.
